Earth Air Water (Print)
Earth Air Water (Print)

This is a print of a small, original work. The subject is an early morning on Lake Beouf near Raceland, Louisiana. The humid atmosphere of South Louisiana blurs the lines between earth, air, and water. They seem to meld into one.
The original artwork was created using oil bars, oil pastels and colored pencils on primed Bristol board. If you would like to give this drawing/painting technique a try I recommend supplies from Blick Art.
Size of Pint: H: 6 inched X W: 10 inches
Printed on acid-free paper with archival inks.
Each print is signed and numbered.
Limited edition of 50.
MORE ABOUT THE ART
My husband and I love fly fishing. We have a little flat-bottomed bateau with an outboard motor. When we lived in Lafourche Parish, we often went fishing at Lake Beouf for bass, brim, and perch. Great fun!
In South Louisiana, because of our French/Catholic heritage, we call our counties Parishes. Lafourche is French for "the fork", beouf is French for "beef", and bateau is French for "boat".
